Anything that is not pure love is some form of hatred.
For the more you experience pure love, pure bliss, you will lose your taste for anything else.
The Seduction of Hate
It is beyond comprehension to know the experience of pure bliss and unending joy, every day. Many believe it would be boring.
This is the allure and seduction of hate. It is exciting, it feels like energy moving and it comes in many forms: anger, frustration, blame, judgment, attack, defense, criticism, fear, punishment, ridicule, powerlessness, shaming, correction, protection, and more. It is a belief system that we are separate and need to attack and defend.
It is an energy that brews deep in our gut and can be activated easily. And sometimes, we feel shame and manipulate it into more polite forms: lies, withholding, avoidance, sneakiness, “civilized manners”, false images, constructive feedback, complaining, gossip, silence, and more.
In some way, these things get our juices flowing; it creates controversy and excitement, chaos, uncertainty, as well as belief in justification for our thoughts, beliefs and actions.
Rich, rich stuff here. There are many tentacles that draw us in.
A Different Way
Imagine a world where there are no terrorists, no authorities, no enemies and we fully embrace all as our brothers and sisters. There is no need to defend for there is nothing to attack.
Emotions remind us of our belief in separation. – Marijo Puleo
Emotions are, indeed, very seductive. They make us feel alive when in reality they are causing our death. Deadening us to what truly makes us Alive.
Think of those times when your heart feels truly open. Perhaps it was the first time you gazed into your newborn’s face. Fell in love. Said goodbye to a loved one as he or she made their transition. Sat alone in a garden. Looked up at a star filled sky. Truly felt a part of a family or community. These are moments that open our heart and fill us with wonder. Moments where time seemed to stand still and there was nothing else on earth as you were fully present to that moment.
And now, let’s keep going….
A Deeper Knowing
“Remember that your natural state is joy.” – Wayne W. Dyer
Can you find a place within you where you see that you and the other person are one? There is no “us” versus “them”. There is a spiritual place within you where there is a flicker of recognition, a presence of this knowledge, a deep knowing. When you can feel this sense of oneness, it creates a feeling of serenity.
Consider this: Each moment you do not feel complete serenity, pause. When you are not feeling total relaxation, notice. Get curious: is there somewhere you believe in separation? If you are feeling an emotion, are you pushing “against” something or someone or in total flow? Are you unhappy with what someone is doing? If you are angry, who or what do you think you are attacking? If you are critical, “who” do you think you are criticizing? What are you fighting? Are you happy for another and secretly jealous? As you work with this, you will begin to recognize how resistance – however subtle – feels in your body, your emotions, and your thoughts.
Personally, I practice this often throughout the day. I see my perception, my own illusion and set about correcting this – within myself. I recognize it and use it as information. I keep forgiving; I keep correcting my own perception.
Why? This helps bring me back into union, and it can for you, too. It helps to transmute the distortion of belief, the projection of our own images onto others. It brings us to deeper contact with each other.
Communicating On Another Level
As I do this work and clear this, and as I teach in sessions, we can feel the vibration shift. You can begin to feel yourself connect with others in ways that you do not have access to when you are allowing the distortion to exist, to remain unconscious.
“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them.” – Einstein
When we are unconscious, we can easily believe in evil empires, corrupt governments and terrorism. When you shift, you can see and communicate on a whole other level.
To solve our challenges, we can use a higher vibration to see things from a different perspective. Hate meeting hate perpetuates hate. Meet hate with love and forgiveness, and create a different outcome.
Experiencing Perpetual Joy and Flow
From this place, serenity is a constant state of joy. The same “things” happen – but your perspective about it shifts. It allows wisdom to flow. You will see where your days flow as an unending parade of connection and centered activity, with deeper presence and mindfulness.
““Although you may not always be able to avoid difficult situations, you can modify the extent to which you can suffer by how you choose to respond to the situation.” ― Dalai Lama XIV,
The world will tempt and seduce you in every turn to dip into the deep well of emotions and belief in separation. Take a deep breath and pause, and remember who you – and all around you – truly are.
Center, rebalance, and then re-engage from this place. Come back to the truth of who you really are, and let the world be your canvas for powerful, connected living.
